This jacket is light weight so must be worn with a shell on cold windy days. Good for most Texas winter weather. Love the color.

As it was mentioned by other reviewers - the material isn't the same - not fluffy, somehow flat, shiny and stiffer. Definitely not what I expected . Will keep it anyway as there isn't anything else available anywhere anyway but I'm not happy with Columbia at all. Why keeping the name of the line if the product is completely different ?

The fleece in this newest one seems compressed and almost felt-like. Disappointing from previous lofty, very soft, heavier fleece jackets of the same style, name, etc. Will keep it anyway because it is still a good value

I am 5'6", 135 lbs and bought a medium in both jackets but found the newer jacket to be tighter in the shoulder area. Arm length and comfort around the waist were good. I was just surprised that the older med jacket's fit is a lot looser and more comfortable. In both cases the color and fabric are great. I use my older Columbia jacket all the time and hope to do the same with the newer one.
