These shoes felt strangely slimy at first, but after I got them wet I was really happy with them. They grip pretty well, and really comfortable after the initial wierdness, seem true to size, and are cute in their funny way. They seem to be pretty durable as well, so I recommend them highly, especially at Sierra Trading Post pricing!

great shoe for all water activities. stay sure footed on the wet deck of a fishing boat. i listed lightweight as a pro and con simply because they are built of very lightweight materials. feel great now but not sure how well they will hold up to daily abuse. haha i mean use ;).

No it's not, I had the same problem too. But if you fit the insole right then you could just slip them into the shoe and wear them with the insole on top the the foot bed. They are great shoe and strongly suggest them!
