Columbia Sportswear Blade Run Parka - 3-in-1 (For Men)

Needed a new winter coat, and this one arrived just a few days before the blizzard hit. The shell is wind & water proof, and w/a vest provides enough warmth & movement for shoveling snow. The Titanium liner is fine for those days when you're not concerned about wind or water, just want warmth. Together, they'll tackle the New England winters my brother's always bragging about - just not making me any slimmer in the process. Oh! and I like the detachable hood - with it & sunglasses, I didn't have to worry about the falling snow, and it goes away when there's nothing falling ...

This jacket rocks, both the shell and the liner are warm, stylish and extremely comfortable. I wore the liner all through autumn and it became my jacket of choice. The athletic fit on the liner is amazing (which is hard to find for a trim guy) and I've gotten several compliments each time I wear the shell. (I got the cerulean color, and it rocks!)

I actually bought this coat for me as I am tall and have long arms. I bought it in white and it really is pretty. Five years ago I had bought one for my husband and he said it was his favorite coat ever. So , of course I had wanted one every since and at this price could not pass it up.

I'm a woman, who appreciates the long lasting wear and usually added features of outer men's clothing. I generally buy a woman's large, or man's medium. The medium for this jacket was perfect for me and I can wear a sweater or sweatshirt underneath as well. My husband thought it was very attractive. I am impressed with the coat, seems well made, nice tight stitching, quality materials. Warm, feels good. It is hgher quality than what I see of Columbia sold in department stores. It worked very well for the brief times that I've been in a steady rain, I think it would do well longer but have no experience with it's long term exposure waterproof or breathable capability. I've been looking for this type of coat for about two years as a replacement for my REI Elements shell coat I bought 7 years ago which was looking a bit ratty, because of velcro damage on the sleeve. I think it might be a good travel coat as well. Overall a great coat for the price. I'd like to be able to stash the hood, but it does come off. I'd like more internal secure pockets.

The jacket is absolutely fantastic. Columbia simply makes clothing that can last for a life. I've got a Columbia parka since 2000 and it still looks like new after really heavy usage. I just couldn't get anything else apart from Columbia again.

The jacket is very comfortable, lightweight and warm. It fits perfect and feels great. I decided to return it because I was not a fan of the brown/kettle color when I saw it in real life. If you like the color, get the jacket because everything else about it is great.

This is an active fit jacket so it fits closer to the body. The best way to describe it is it runs a size smaller than older style Columbia parkas. For me, my old Columbia Large jacket fit loose and had extra long sleeves. This jacket in Large fits close and the sleeves are just right. If you still want loose and extra long sleeves, order a size larger. AWESOME JACKET! Columbia can't be beat. You can pay more for another NAME but none of them are any better in quality than this Columbia Blade Run.

Purchased this coat for my high school son - he loves it, and it will keep him warm as he walks to school - and on the slopes. Great Buy!!!
