Pants were too long, but had them altered. They fit great after that and were very warm and comfortable!

Snow play and snow activities

This pants are perfect except for the fact that I bought a large size and it was VERY large. I usually wear a 36, but this one was like a 40. My wife had to stitch it to have the waist adjusted. Otherwise, the pants are awesome. I use it skiing and it feels very warm with a layer underneath, it has zipper pockets and it is totally waterproof. Just pay attention to the size.....

I put on some weight through the fall, so I wanted a good-enough cheap option to get me through the winter. These do the job. They're a decent pair of pants for cheap.

Great pants. Just what I was looking for and at an awesome price. I use them in the snowstorm and they were warm and not bulky at all. Can't wait to use them, on the slopes. Great Buy!

Excellent for winters in the snow

These snowpants are great and match my columbia jacket well. Sizing depends on fit expectations. I am 5'11" and 185lbs and wear 36 waist jeans and ordered the medium (per other reviewers' comments) and they fit "comfortably" over jeans & belt. Of course they fit even more comfortably without the jeans on, but I know there will be times when I just want to throw these on quickly and go. I like the more "snug/close" fit (not baggy). I have only wore these once outside to play in the snow with my kid for almost an hour with temps around 10 degrees Celsius and they kept me warm. I did not notice any restriction in movement (walking, climbing, snow angles, etc) either. Can not comment on durability, but expect it to be as durable as other Columbia gear.

My husband is an avid downhill skier in less than prime conditions. Seem to stand up well to the often damp snow conditions in Juneau, nice to not get a wet butt on the chairlift. Comfy and warm. A little long on his 5'6" frame but the ski boots keep the hem out of the way.

I do a ton of skiing challenging terrain and need pants that breath and maintain temperatures. These ski pants are awesome!
