Not sure of efficacy of bug repellency as I've seen more bugs and critters land on these pants compared to any other. However, they are comfortable and quick drying and I'll probably buy another pair as I've dropped in weight since I began the hike.

Also great fabric for hiking pants Only downside is the belt, wish buckle was a different design as it has a tendency to come undone when doing a lot of movement bushwacking and climbing.

Peterson from Fairfax, VA on Sunday, March 10, 2013Nice fit, however, if you have large or muscular thighs in relation to your waist, they might nor be the best fit is terms of overall comfort. I have 32" waist and 24" thighs and I wish that they had more room. But to caveat the above, if you do not carry anything in the side cargo pockets, then the fit is not an issue.

Reviewed by TNman from TN on Monday, December 31, 2012Good value. The pants are okay for hiking but the legs are a little too baggy. I bought a 36/32 and might have been okay with a smaller size. They fill my needs so I will keep them. I am 6', 170 lbs. and the fit was a little too big.
