Sure, I read a couple reviews before I ordered them saying that the pants run small, but as a size 4 I normally have the opposite problem with just about all outdoor wear and figured the other reviewers just wanted some extra room. I was wrong. The waist of these pants was fine (maybe a little tight, but nothing too bad), the problem is that they are cut like a skinny jean, cut VERY close to the leg and tapering all the way down to a very narrow leg opening. To compound the problem, there is a seam running down the front of the leg, even if I didn't mind the cut of the pant from a style standpoint my knees would press against this seam whenever I tried to sit (I doubt I'd be able to do much hiking in these). From a style standpoint the pants do have some nice deep mesh pockets, but the cut is so slim anything you put in them would bulge. I also tried these on with my hiking boots and looked quite ridiculous with a tight skinny leg on top of huge hiking boots.

I am usually between a size 10 and a 12 so I ordered a size 12 thinking I'd need the extra comfort. They fit exactly the way I wanted and give a sliming appearance. I ereally like the fact that the pockets start below the tummy area so that it appears flat. The order arrived exactly as stated and I'm very pleased.

I found them to run small. I'm usually a 6P, and tried the 4R and 6R. I'd need an 8 and then would shorten them. I went back to the Outdoor Research version and shortened them instead.

They are a little snug, but I'm sure a larger size would be too big. I like the straight leg style and they are a perfect length. My main objection is that they arrived horribly wrinkled--and these are travel pants! The seams have a puckered look, which makes them look cheap. If returns were free, these would be going back!
