Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I bought this for my 4yr old son, the size was 4-5 which means he should get a couple of years wear before he outgrows. This jacket is sturdy and up for what young boys can put their clothes through, the added bonus of this jacket is being able to separate the outer rain jacket from the inner zip up, so can layer up or down according to the weather
