It will be a Christmas present for my 12 year old daughter. Purchased the black Columbia boots with the bright pink laces to go with it. She will LOVE both. Gotta love Sierra Trading Post for the fantastic deals. Purchase most of our winter sportswear from them.

The two pieces are nice and the pink is very bright; just like most 10 year old little girls would like. I would recommend it but to be sure, I would have to re-post after Christmas to let you know what she thought of the jacket.

There is no information in the description or on the product about what temperature this is supposed to be rated for, but it seems like a spring/fall jacket. The fleece liner is very thin fleece, and then there is the shell, and that is it. I can't imagine it would be warm enough below about 35-40 degrees. I was disappointed that this was listed as a winter sports jacket when it has so little insulation. It is certainly not up to Minnesota temperatures, and I am returning it.
