Never owned a 3-in-1 jacket before but it felt a bit tight with the liner in it... but it is well made and stylish.

This is my third Columbia 3 in 1 system jacket. One got stolen, the other has lasted me over 15 years without failing, but it's starting to look a little grubby from use. These things are so warm that you can ski all day in 'em with just a T-shirt underneath. I also do a lot of snowmobiling and even with the wind whipping, have never gotten cold in them once. They keep me warm and dry. They are very high quality too, with plenty of pockets that are easily accessible, even with gloves on. I would buy again!

  • Question “I am looking for the jacket and the liner. It looks like this one, when wearing both you have to zipper both of them separately. The one I have right now, you can attach the liner to the jacket with the zipper and remove it when needed. I rather have another jacket like that. From the pictures, I don't think it is the same. Are there any jackets where the liner can't be attached and only zip the jacket while using both??”
Asked on 11/12/2011 12:00:00 AM by Marlene from Boston, MA
    • Answer The Columbia Sportswear Bugaboo Omni-Tech® Parka has the same design as the jacket you current have. The shell and liner do zip together to become 1.
Answered on 11/14/2011 12:00:00 AM by STPGearPro-RyanP from Sierra Trading Post
    • Answer Hi Marlene,||I can use either the liner (basically a fleece jacket) and the coat (basically a shell) as separate, zippable components.
Answered on 1/3/2012 12:00:00 AM by MTB Oakham from Oakham, MA
    • Answer On this jacket, the liner and the shell are independent of each other. (i.e. there are 2 separate zippers).|Hope that answers your question!
