They kept snow out of my boots and had plenty of pockets.|My only suggestion would be that I went up a size as to have plenty of room to move and layer.

Otherwise, good quality, very warm, and quite comfy. Also, the picture indicates a belt loop, but disappointingly, there is not one. Sierra Trading Post offers excellent prices and value, delivers very quickly, packages perfectly, and their customer service is open late, and the reps are super courteous.
