We were looking for new boots that our 12 year old boy could use playing in the snow and on scout campouts. These boots worked great. They went on a campout and it was -20 degrees. I know that is cold, but they had a cabin just in case. He stayed warm in the boots and loved them. I bought a size 5 and they seemed a little big which we liked. He has room to grow for next year. His feet never got wet and he said they were really comfortable to walk in.

Easy to tighten, no worries about having to tie with gloves on or coming untied while sledding, snowboarding or snowmobiling. Columbia boots are my go to boots for all 4 of our boys. They stand up to what they dish out.
