There is negligible padding around the ankle or heel and hence no ankle or heel cups to help hold the foot in place. The constant battering against the hard rand is painful and one pair of heavy sox are not up to the task of softening the impact. I am wary of the sole on snow or ice.

Wiped them down with a damp paper towel after use and they look brand new. Highly recommend.

He looks good in anything he wears. This boot has that durable look. I cant say too much on it hes only wore them 1x. I always liked columbia products.|So far im satisfied.
