I am planning a winter trip to The Mighty Five (the 5 national parks in Utah) and the Grand Canyon in late November in which there will be snow/ice present. Planning on doing lots of hiking (including a hike to the bottom of the Grand Canyon) and exploring. Will these boots give me the proper traction I need when there is snow/ice present when hiking all those canyons?

  • Answer They will give you good footing in most conditions. However on solid ice the is no boot sole that will give you solid footing. You may also need to look at getting a pair of traction devices for ice that fit over you boots.
