I am not an athlete, however I do work outdoors and stand a lot in the cold and snow. These boots are warm, dry, and my feet and legs get great support. No fatigue at the end of the day. I ordered a half size up and they fit perfect with medium socks (heavier socks weren't needed).

I bought these for my husband, who has been wearing his heavy old felt logging caulk boots for years. In spite of the heaviness, they never seemed to keep his feet warm, so I got these with the hope that they would be lighter and warmer, and easier to get on and off. These boots have excelled in these departments and more, and the caulk boots have gone to the attic permanently!
