These boots are great. I have worn them ice fishing several times and my feet didn't get cold or wet. I was so impressed that I ordered a pair for my son.

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this boot when I received my order. Looking forward to getting comfortable and durable use from this boot....have yet to really break them in.

These are a little stiff at first but break in nicely. The wife and I took a snow walk in the woods and I wore these to break them in for next hunting season. My feet stayed warm and didn't get overly hot. I hope they do me well while sitting in a tree stand this coming hunting season.

Bought these for my daughter's winter camping trips. She had been wearing mickey mouse boots but she is small so she had trouble with their weight. These are warm and comfortable without being so heavy. I wish they had 1/2 sizes available so she could have worn an extra pair of socks but she does make these work.
Answer
It is located through out the boot's upper.

Answer
Mountain Hardwear does not provide a waterproof rating for their Dry Q Core products. This is what they say about it. Mountain Hardwear Dry.Q Core garments feature durable and innovative waterproof-breathable technology with metrics that meet or exceed industry standards, and are designed for outdoor enthusiasts and athletes who do not require outwear with the elite levels of performance found in Dry.Q Elite products. Mountain Hardwear does not source pre-finished fabrics, and they engineer each Dry.Q Core fabric layer by layer. While fabrics are being engineered, face and backing materials with unique benefits are combined to best meet the needs of the user, activity, and climate. All Dry.Q Core products are extensively tested to ensure the breathability capabilities will not deteriorate over time, making them versatile and long-lasting solutions for everything from a lightweight climbing jacket, to everyday rainwear.
