These boots are great. I have worn them ice fishing several times and my feet didn't get cold or wet. I was so impressed that I ordered a pair for my son.

These are a little stiff at first but break in nicely. The wife and I took a snow walk in the woods and I wore these to break them in for next hunting season. My feet stayed warm and didn't get overly hot. I hope they do me well while sitting in a tree stand this coming hunting season.

Bought these for my daughter's winter camping trips. She had been wearing mickey mouse boots but she is small so she had trouble with their weight. These are warm and comfortable without being so heavy. I wish they had 1/2 sizes available so she could have worn an extra pair of socks but she does make these work.

Wore them hunting in 20 degree F weather with one pair of regular crew socks, my feet never got cold. Walked through a creek and feet stayed dry. Great ankle support for trekking through the woods.

Personal Comparitive: I normally do not wear boots until there is snow around, my feet have good circulation and can feel comfortable in sneekers at 30f dgrees. Size: I measure at a size 9 1/2 but usually have to buy 11 to fit extra wide feet. Columbia Sportswear claims these boots are comfortable between +50f and -65f degrees, which is absurd. That is a 115 dgree swing. But anyway, I did a test run and walked 8 blocks to the store in 38f weather. MY feet got very warm on the way but bearrable, but after 10 minutes inside the store my feet were so uncomfortably hot I had to leave. These are definitely NOT casual around town winter boots unless you have normmally super cold feet. A few days later and the temp dropped to 24f so I did a mile walk and then sat still for a bit. My feet stayed nice and warm, even resting on 24 degree concrete. I can see that for me that these boots would be most comfortable in the 20f to -20f temp range. The one major con is that the upper 3 lace loops are some sort of plastic. I tend to not pull hard on those anyway, but they do make me nervous. The rest of the boot is very well constructed, and the lightest boot for its size. The size 11's I purchased felt most like size 11 Nike, if that helps any. TLDR; Great boot for deep snow and cold, not good for a day of winter shopping.

I bought these because I needed a warm and waterproof boot to use for hunting and for outdoor winter activities. The boot is comfortable very sturdy and durable. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a tough, warm, and waterproof outdoor boot.

I sadly had to throw away my Vasque hunting boots after 15 years of use due to wear and tear. I put my boots through heck when I hunt, however, when these boots arrived and put them on my feet, I soon realized my feet are in good hands! I haven't had these boots for long, but very impressed so far with the sizing and camo/black look!
