Columbia Sportswear Byron Bay Trench Coat (For Women)

I wear the coat daily to work and it is roomy enough for a sweater to go underneath, but isn't so large that it feels baggy.

This is a very attractive and stylish trench coat that can be dressed up or down. The light color will go with any of my accessories. This is a more feminine trench compared to most of what I see. My only complaint is that the fabric wrinkles easily. Other than that I am very happy with this coat.

I was looking for a simple, everyday black jacket to wear during the autumn season. I was initially looking for a cotton twill jacket, but couldn't find the plain style I wanted- a zip-up, collared jacket. When I saw this jacket it fit the look I wanted and it's also a trench, so that was a bonus. Now I have a simple jacket I can truly wear everyday- sunny or rainy! When I received it, I immediately tried it on and was impressed by the cut and fit. The fit is flattering without being too "trendy" if you know what I mean and it's not matronly and boxy. It's the perfect everyday jacket for a woman who wants to look neat and put together without too much effort. If you want it to look more fitted, you can always make the side buckles tighter. There are two inside pockets, one has a button tab closure and the other is just a regular slot pocket. The outside hip pockets are lined in a nice, warm cozy material. Nice touch for someone like myself who doesn't like wearing gloves. The only thing some may not like about this jacket is how the peached material can easily be scuffed, and by scuffed I mean a slight sheen caused by being rubbed by something. I don't mind the "scuffs" as they aren't that noticeable and something I'd expect from this kind of material. I suppose a suede brush could help lessen the appearance of "scuffs".

I bought this coat for a trip to London. It should be perfect. The sleeves are a bit long but I wear petites and it did not come in petite.

This is such a well made coat, with nice slimming lines. I wear it to work in San Francisco - even in the summer here, the wind and fog can chill to the bone. I love the softly-lined pockets on this coat. Wish that 1) it had a hood, and 2) it came in dark color besides black. Otherwise perfect.

It's been too cold here to wear this coat but I'm sure I'll be wearing it daily later this spring. A great little trench for those of us who want an alternative to the military look, sleek and feminine without being fussy. The simple cut makes it slimming too. Classic and non trendy, this won't go out of style. A definite keeper.

I can wear this jacket casually, or even great for on the go events, just add a beautiful scarf, and you become very chic!
