Columbia Sportswear Chino Pants - Edgewater (For Women)

I have had difficulty finding a traditional fit that works in the rise and the inseam. I typically need a petite (for the rise) and a 32" inseam (for my legs). These pants fall perfectly just at the waist instead of above my bellybutton. I plan to use these pants for a casual workplace in the fall and winter. The fabric is sturdy and heavier, of course, than my summer chinos. I like the style but the waist widens a bit and creates a slight bunching when I tighten the belt I use. (bunching barely visible under the belt). At this price, I will take them to my local seamstress and have her take them in a bit. I washed them, hemmed them to 31 and 10/16ths" (size 6 comes with a 32" inseam). They washed well (may need some pressing depending on the occasion) and decided to order 2 more pairs to have on hand.

I bought a pair of the regular length pants a few months ago and love them. The capri lengths is about 2-3 sizes to small ion the waist/hip area-disappointing. I have returned them

Great pants but I'm one of those women who have trouble finding pants that fit in the waist without a big gap in the back. With some alteration these would have been perfect.

Great to put on with a cute top. A little heavy once we move into the heat of summer. Wish they were available in a lighter fabric and I would buy several.

These are snappy looking chinos, but the waist gapped a lot at my low back. I will be returning them.

This is the second pair of these capris that I have ordered. They are extremely durable, but soft against the skin. They aren't covered with pockets and zippers up and down the legs (which I don't like). They're sleek, fit well, and look great!

Great for hiking, biking etc. The usual Columbia quality.
