Verified Buyer Reviewed by Olive Oyl from san jose, ca on Thursday, July 12, 2012The size Large drapes over a 180 lb guy like it hangs on a hanger (he wears a Large in all other Columbia jackets). Girth, sleeve length ... it was big Everywhere! It looks like a regular guy wearing someone else's big-and-tall outfit, we were dismayed.
With this kind of haphazard sizing there is no advantage to shopping online.
- Cons: Poor Fit
- Sizing: Feels too large

Verified Buyer Reviewed by DLRFM from midwest on Sunday, March 11, 2012I was looking for a jacket to use for cold weather bike commuting that could be worn after the ride and not broadcast "cyclist" The large size I first ordered was too loose [44 chest] but the medium that replaced it fit me perfectly. It is still roomy enough for me to layer under but snug enough to not flap around on a ride. It is really warm on it own and the low bulk insulation is indeed low profile.
Luckily, this winter in the midwest has been so mild I have had any use for it.
If I had to change anything I would add a drawstring at the waist to keep in the warmth but great jacket overall.
