Verified Buyer Reviewed by gary hiker from new york on Monday, May 12, 2014Wore these for seven mile hike on a rocky terrain. Few water crossings. Great fit out of the box.
Reviewed by Adam from The Appalachian Mountains of VA on Sunday, April 6, 2014I managed to snag a pair of these on closeout at Gander Mountain in Syracuse earlier this year for only 50 bucks. I'm a big fan of Columbia products, as well as this particular color scheme. I wear these shoes on a daily basis and find them to be super comfy with good support. They are good looking, true to size, light weight, and grippy. The Outdry is just an added bonus. My feet haven't gotten wet at all in these babies! Sadly my size wasn't available when I found them on STP. I really wanted a second pair. However, STP also carries the regular (non-waterproof) version of the Conspiracy, so I just ordered a pair to test them out too. I hope they are as great as these are. I highly recommend the Conspiracy Outdry shoes. For the STP price, you won't be disappointed!
Reviewed by B-rad from NW Indiana on Sunday, December 8, 2013I always cycle 2 pair of shoes for my daily run/walks. Recently purchased a pair of Montrail OutDry trail runners from STP. I really liked them and wanted a 2nd pair. However, I waited too long, and they were unavailable. These became my new choice. I really like them. Very comfortable out of the box. Nice grip. I bought for winter use as I try to run on the side of the asphalt bike path to save my knees. These are sturdy and have a slightly softer sole composition than my Montrails. That makes for better running on harder surfaces. Waterproofing seems good when used on those frosty mornings through the grass. I do about 30 miles a week split between the 2 pair of shoes. These have seen appx. 60 miles and they seem great. Just trying to keep these 50 yr. old legs in motion with little pain!
Reviewed by Brannon32 from Vallejo, CA. on Sunday, July 21, 2013Saw these reviewed in Backpacker magazine and thought I'd try them out when I saw them on STP. The sole grabs on to everything I've stepped on so far and is firm for walking on trails. They do retain foot heat a bit, so they're not the best choice for hot summer days above 90 degrees, but I'm looking forward to using them in the fall and winter and testing out the OutDry waterproofing feature.
