I normaly wear a Medium for shirts and jackets. I ordered a large in this coat after reading the specs and taking measurements. Imagine my surprise when the large was way too small.

I exchanged it for an extra large and the fit is much better. Good thing because I love, love, love this jacket. I've never had one with the thumb hole before but I'll never have another jacket without them. I wear this to the barn everyday and it's great!

I'd recomment this jacket to anyone who lives in cold areas.

This coat has good surpises; deep pockets, pocket inside, tighten cord at bottom of coat that can be tightened from inside pockets and the collar is soft so it doesn't rub your neck or chin while zipped. But it is not that warm. The wind goes through and the sleeves provide no warmth. I will keep the jacket, but I am back to looking for a warm winter coat.

I live in a cold climate state and spend a LOT of time exercising outdoors in winter. Have a similar favorite Columbia jacket, but wanted another for back-up. This product is multi-purpose and keeps me warm no matter what the weather conditions.

This parka runs slim - which is great for my daughter that is a size 2. She ordered a small and it was perfect. Roomy enough for a sweater underneath. She loved all the special features that help keep her warm and dry- attached fingerless gloves, fuzzy inside collar and lower inside flap that snaps.
    • Best Uses: All around winter parka, Horseshows
    • Pros: Lightweight, Slim fitting, very warm, Waterproof, Windproof
