I do a lot of kayaking and wet sailing and have always used surfing booties in and out of boats; they are adequate but give very little support walking on most surfaces. The Columbia water shoes are fantastic in and out of the boat and eliminate the annoying need to change shoes for portage and loading the boat on and off the car; an added bonus is the arch support and wide toe box for my large flat feet. I will probably buy another pair since I have only seen these shoes on Sierra and now they are an essential part of my water sport activities.

I was looking for a pair of water shoes to use while participating in pool water sports. Frequently, I have problems with the fit of shoes because of the toe box being smaller than I need. To get shoes that are comfortable I have to go up a size, but then have trouble with the instep feeling right. Because of the elastic instep and a wide toe box on these water shoes the fit is perfect for me. They are superior to the inexpensive water shoes I have been buying in the big box sports stores.
