Velcro doesn't allow for snug enough closure so right now it gaps at ears & chin. Will have to add a piece of velcro so it secures for tighter fit.

My son is pretty small for his age and this hat will be worn only a time or two when he goes sledding. It is very lightweight so I am not sure how good it will be at keeping him warm. If the hat was a bit bigger I would give it a higher rating, but I can't say I recommend this product.

However, the mittens in particular seem a bit flimsy to me, I was hoping they would be thicker. I'm not sure they'll work in the snow. But for every day use they are perfect.
