    I normally wear a size 4 or 6 so ordered both the small and medium to compare. The small fit but would have been too tight for layering so went with the medium. Love that it's not a solid color & has nice details that make it trendier than typical fleece.

    I ordered the pants for hiking trips and they would have been perfect if they hadn't been so LARGE. I normally wear a small in everything columbia--however these were my first pair of columbia bottoms so i'm not sure how they compare. What I do know is that they were nice quality and lightweight, and extremely, extremely big.

    These are nice pants, good material, but the fit didn't work for me. The rise is short, below the waist. The waistband has a bit of elastic on either side, and the pockets are not sewn down, so if you have hips or curves, the pockets will bulge.

    I ordered one of each color in a Medium (8-10). They were so big that I could pull them down snapped and zipped up. I exchanged for size small and they arrived today - they fit perfectly - now my only complaint is that the lighter stone color was not available in small so I'm short a pair of really great knee pants! These are 5 star pants when you get the right size.
