Columbia Sportswear Eros Lake Jacket - Hooded Waterproof (For Women)

I got the yellow and the navy in xs and s to compare color and sizes. The sizing is generous. I'm keeping both to layer over other garments. Both the colors are great and classic--not boring. The yellow is delicious--a soft buttery shade with no artificial coloring. The rubbery fabric has a nice drapey feel. It's not actually lined but on the inside has a knitted poly fused to the "rubber". This makes it comfortable and easily slips on and off. There are ventilation holes which I assume will make this a breathable garment that we won't suffocate in. Nice little jacket for the price.

I took a risk and got the sunny yellow color and I love it. Great color! At 5"10" I find jackets tight through the shoulders sometimes. This one fits beautifully and leaves room for a sweater or down vest underneath. With no liner, it is purely for rain proofing, not for warmth, but with room for a warm base layer, it's fine for our NoCal weather. The Columbia quality is excellent - an unbelievable deal at this price!

This rain jacket is intended for year round use. In the wet winter weather, I'll layer wool and fleece with it, and in the wet warmer months, I'll pack it for when needed.

This jacket is a simple piece of plastic - which I want I needed. I bought it as a second rain coat so that on morning dog walks I don't get my gore tex jacket wet and then have to wear it all day. It doesn't have pit zips, it has small little holes. The zipper is only one way. It is properly sized and it is for sure waterproof.

This is just what I needed for getting back and forth by boat. Sometimes the weather is rough and there's alot of spray, some days it rains, but now I won't get wet. Love the way the hood closes up to keep me dry and warm too. Just the thing for island living.

I found this coat to be true to ratings and reviews. It's a very nice coat for rainy day use. Very breathable, which is my main reason for choosing it. The only drawback is that it feels a little big.

This jacket fits beautifully, looks great and exceeded my expectations! I should have bought two of them!

First of all....size up if you want to be warm. I'm a average size 8 and the 8-10 is very snug. It's not a big problem for me here in S. California as I don't need to layer for warmth but anywhere else it would be. It's a very light jacket so easy to pack which I like and it seems to be well made so should last a while. It's not stylish but that's O.K. as I really wanted a jacket for the odd downpour that we get here and I think this will be just fine. very good value for the price.

I live in the Pacific Northwest. It rains here. You need a waterproof jacket. This one is great. It's lightweight, keeps out hard rain, long enough to cover the rear, which is nice. It fits fine, if just a little roomy. That's OK as it makes it possible to layer. But the hood is a little floppy and awkward--my only complaint.
