Columbia Sportswear Eros Lake Rain Pants - Waterproof (For Women)

The pants are more rubbery and less fabric-like than I expected from the description.

I'm not an athlete, I just like to walk outdoors in all kinds of weather. Leaning into horizontal blowing snow the other day I thought: gosh it would be nice if my legs weren't getting cold and soaked through my jeans! I've only recently received these and haven't actually used them yet so I can't vouch for their breathability or durability etc, but these are good-quality well-made pants and I'm happy that I bought them. I think that they were designed with the idea that people might wear other pants underneath: I am a size 8 and the medium is plenty large to wear over non-bulky sweatpants, leggings etc. I don't think I'll be using these very often, but I'll sure be grateful that I have them when I need them. Good pants, you can't really go wrong here.

Great waterproof pants!

Good value for waterproof rain pants. Will keep you dry so no excuses for skipping that daily three mile walk in rainy Washington State! Has enough room (even in the legs) so can be worn over long underwear or light sweat pants depending on the temperature. Careful washing is necessary due to the polyurethane over polyester material. Columbia Sportswear has a good reputation.

Great to wear over regular pants to take walks or to take the dog out on wet or windy days! Bought 2 different colors so one is always ready to wear.

I needed waterproof pants for mucking my horse's stall and for walking with him in the mud, rain and show.

I ordered these pants after reading others' comments. They fit, appear to be waterproof (have not tested them yet) and - thank goodness - are only slightly, very slightly, below my waist. (I am long waisted.) They have an elastic waist so do not have the smooth fit of a fitted waist, but who's going to be looking in the rain? Fabric is soft, not noisy.

I've gone Nordic Trekking in a blizzard and stayed bone dry. I bought two pair: brown and blue. They are lighweight and very waterproof. I wear size 12 jeans and the LARGE fits perfectly. Waist looks big, but when you get them up over your pants, it's just right. They are not bulky. Very comfortable. Snaps at the ankle make them snug over my shoes.

These rain pants are pretty sylish... and not bulky. Go over jeans pretty well. No pockets is a big drawback.
