“Small sized for an outer garmet”

“This is a very nice ultralight rain jacket packable to a small size, and I bought it to carry when canoeing, wading/fishing in case of rain. It serves that purpose well. But it seems slightly undersized for a rain jacket which may have a sweater or heavy shirt under it. I am 5'8", chest is 42-1/2" and I think I would be cramped in a size large, needing a loose fit for full arm action. So I returned the large for a XL, which is indeed oversized for me, but it works. And, the quality and weight make it the right jacket for my purposes.”
