Columbia Sportswear Faux Shearling Hooded Jacket - Plus Size (For Women)

Because it is smaller than I expected I can't actually wear it yet. However, I decided to keep it because I am currently losing weight.

I was very torn whether or not to return this. It is much, much thinner and less luxurious than other faux shearling coats I've had, and it runs one to two sizes too small. Having read the other reviews, I ordered a 2X to accommodate this sizing error, and it's snug across the chest (I'm top-heavy). I usually have take a large or have room in a XL in outerwear. So be warned -- if you order this, order it one to two sizes larger than you normally wear. The coat is also very thin for shearling, which makes it less bulky. I am hopeful that the maker -- which has an excellent reputation for producing quality outerwear -- has made a warm coat without the bulk. I haven't had the chance to truly test that, but I think it might be the case based on a brief wearing. For this reason, I'll probably keep it. All in all, however, I was disappointed with this purchase. I had very high expectations for this coat, and they weren't met. That being said, however, given the bargain price I paid, I still got a nice enough coat.

I wanted this as my "go to" coat - - sleeve scythe too narrow to accomodate sweater.

Way too small. I was so hopeful as I unpacked it (material was nice, but I noticed that I would probably need to fix the buttons in a couple of months), and then I could not even get it across my shoulders.

I had to return this jacket for a larger size. Normally would wear 20-22 in Columbia Sportswear but even the 3X is a tad snug. Attractive & stylish jacket with hood. Great for fall & early winter or early spring.

I will be returning this jacket because the sizing is very inaccurate. I ordered the 3XL (24W-26W) and it fits like an 16 or 18. I usually wear a 22 and I couldn't even fasten the buttons. Sierra you need to change the size listings.

I ordered the 2X thinking that it would be roomy but it was way too small. I returned it and got the 3X (I NEVER wear a 3X) and it was way too small. Nice coat. Wish I could wear it :-(

Although the coat was nicely made it was sized too small. I usually wear a 1X - 2X. I ordered the 3X because I wanted to be able to wear a sweater or jacket underneath. The coat fit like a 1X. It was sent back. The coat was also lighter weight than I anticipated. I recommend the coat, just not for plus sizes.
