Columbia Sportswear Faux Shearling Hooded Jacket - Plus Size (For Women)

This coat was way too small, as most other reviewers have mentioned. I usually wear a 20W, maybe 22W in some lines. I ordered the 3X, thinking it would good over sweaters, heavier winter clothes. Does not fit well even with only a thin T-shirt under it. Sleeve openings at armpits are WA-A-A-A-Y-Y-Y too small & very uncomfortable, plus the coat was too snug across the bust. Furthermore, the black dye bled onto my clothing. It is more lightweight than I expected, but that would be OK for mild Southern winter days . . . if it fit! I kept trying to make it work for me, particularly as I have been losing weight, but this coat is going to a charity!! I just didn't even want to fool with returning it. STP, you have your "perfect"-shoe-size employees try on shoes for fit; why not coats? Not all clothing, but surely sizing winter coats would be a resonable effort to make.

Your overall rating should include a "does not apply" category. This is a lovely coat Unfortunately, it seems to have been sized incorrectly. It is marked a 2X but fit like a very small 18. Other than that, it is a nice coat and a good value. I was disappointed.

I bought especially for a trip, but couldn't use it.

I am so disappointed. After looking all season for a faux shearling, I thought this was the one. The style and quality were outstanding, the size is way too small. This will be returned. I felt like I was misled.

I believe there is a mistake about the sizing of this coat. What is said to be a 3X is more like a an XL in regular womens clothes, not plus sizing

This faux shearling leans more toward the "faux" than the shearling. It is lightweight and therefore not useful in cold weather. Nevertheless, it is a lovely jacket with a comfortable fit, and I will wear it when the temp is over 40 degrees.

I love this coat. It is both casual and dressy. I can wear it outdoors to go for a walk, and just as easily slip it over a dress to go out at night. The color and cut make it sleek and versatile.
