    This combination is fabulous! I wasn't sure what I'd be getting since the images online don't show you what the short's color will be. I ordered black, and the shorts were a nice black/white/gray pattern that looked kind of pebbly, not too flowery or loud. Both the shorts and the skirt have a flattering, comfortable fit and button together easily. I wear the shorts while I am in my kayak/canoe then throw the skirt on top around camp. I great alternative to shorts or pants alone! The skirt does have a seam in the fabric of the shorts (the pattern) that starts at the waist and wraps down and around the side of the skirt. It is a nice detail, but in the picture it is hard to tell it is there. The skirt is not one solid color because of this.

    This is a really great idea, with the ability to use the skirt and short together or not. Seems as thought you could bundle up in a ball then unpack, and would still come out looking great. Even though a little small in the waist, it looks pretty good, and can still wear until I drop a couple of pounds.
