This jacket more than lives up to it's description.
I am 6'1" 190lbs and ordered the XL, it was a perfect fit.
The Omni-heat feature was warmer than I expected and allowed Columbia to make this jacket super light as well as super warm.
I have worn it in windy temps as low as the low 20's and it is still toasty warm. the welded seams and fine tooth zipper are great at keeping out the wind and even in light rain the water repellency of the black fabric is excellent.
I was a little disappointed in the 'interchange" feature. Although it will connect in to the 3 points of the sleeve ends and the back of the neck, the fine tooth zipper does not zip in to my other 3-in-1 shell. I did try it and it is workable, but not as nice as if it zipped in.
Overall, an awesome jacket that I will wear for many years.
Thanks STP for another great deal!!

    The Good:
    Great Jacket/ warm, cozy.
    Better than anticipated.
Bought XL and it is only slightly roomy - the way I like it (I'm 5'7" --- 200 lbs.) ouch...!
I like the velcro cuffs and the drawcord at the hem

    The Bad:
The Zipper is a smaller gauge than expected; so no "zip-in" with my Marmot or North Face Gore-Tex shells (boo-hoo.)

But that's it... (would buy another one...)

I have been thoroughly impressed thus far with this product, though it wasn't exactly what I though that I was purchasing. The reflective material on the inside is very impressive at keeping in warmth and the jacket is very light weight which comes in handy in a variety of activities. The fleece back, though a good idea to help regulate body temperature, doesn't hold up in windy conditions and allows for a cooling effect which can be counter productive in chilly conditions. The hard shell holds up well in light rain, beading the drops of water and not allowing any penetration into the core of the jacket. Overall I am satisfied with this purchase, but mainly because of the price rate being what it was, I wouldn't pay the sticker price for this item as I would expect more functionality for a jacket within the $150 range.

This did not interwork with the Columbia 3-way jacket I bought the moth before. This requires a fine tooth inside zipper on the jacket. My Columbia 3-way had a course toothed zipper. I had to return it.

Styling on this jacket is not pretty so IMHO it is not usable as a stand alone garment. Also the garment I received had already been opened in returned.

Otherwise appears typically great Columbia product.

This jacket is part softshell and part fleece. The fit it perfect for me, and the windproofing is in all the right spots. The added weight saving Omni Heat thermal reflective lining add warmth without bulk. Is this anywhere near as light as my OR hooded down? Of course not, but living in Oregon make having reliable water resistant outerwear a necessity. Warmth, style, and features make this a 5 star product for me.
