“Excellent! (But, a 'parka'?...no)”

“I needed a solid, waterproof winter jacket that was warm but light weight. I was a bit worried about this item being called a 'parka' because by my definition of 'parka' that would have been too heavy and too long. But, this item turned out just what I wanted. Fits great, easy zippers, velcro in all the right places, pockets are flannel-lined, and the pit-zips are great for letting more air in when snow shoveling causes too much warmth. I'm a 42 short, and it fits very well. The sleeves have a velcro cinch that allows for adjusting to short arms. The hood is OK but is subject to blowing off in a stiff breeze (not a big deal). Layering is necessary underneath it when temps go to single digits and/or the wind blows. I've been wearing it daily since I bought it and am very happy with it.”
