    I think this will get a lot of use....with and without the 'pouch'. Glad it zips off. Kind of a ripstop fabric, but softer and quieter.

    Hard to find one with a hood, and this is a stretch cotton with big pockets to boot. Only complaint is the ridiculous little pocket attached by a button. I actually removed all evidence of it with scissors... Fit is great, weight is not flimsy but not too heavy, good indoor-outdoor layer. Love Columbia, love Sierra!

    I like the clean, slimming lines of this vest-very flattering. The detachable purse is useful but can be removed if you don't need the utility. The fabric is nicer than I expected and very durable. I will wear this without the purse for everyday wear, but with the purse when I go to events where I don't want to carry a purse.

    I cut the handle off the purse and used the left-behind loops to use a removeable purse handle. If the purse is attached, you don't need the handle. Good size hand pockets, Napoleon pocket left chest. Purse pocket is great, has divider inside, will hold digital camera. I ORDERED A SMALL AS OTHERS SAID IT RUNS LARGE. SLIGHTL SNUG ACROSS CHEST, 36B.
