I like Columbia clothing so I thought I would give these a try especially after reading the reviews. I was excited for my order to arrive - the first time I wore these we hiked for 8 miles. I did get a blister on my heel but I wore the wrong socks. I recently ordered and received 4 pairs of Smartwool socks (from STP) - I'm hoping these will help keep my feet dryer and blister free.

My wide feet love these and hurt if I don't wear decent flexible yet firm footwear. These are just what I needed!

So far they have kept my feet warm and dry in wet, cold and damp conditions. Haven't worn them in warm or hot weather yet, but they do seem to breath well. I'm a big fan of Columbia products - especially their shoes/boots. This is another winner. I do find Columbia foot wear to run about 1/2 size small and this was no exception. For the price, these are hard to beat.
