36inch waist was too tight and 38inch with 34inch inseam were too long -so a little tailoring was required. Nonetheless,these are good pants for chilly midseason hunts and the price is so low that they are a bargain even with a small alteration cost.

My first pair have become my go-to upland pants for grouse and woodcock hunting because they are so brush and briar resistant, and that's their main job. Although otherwise nice and roomy, the waist feels a little snug for a 36. I ordered these size 38s due to an expanding waist size. I have other pants I paid more for, but these are the best in heavy brush. Although sturdy and a little heavy they breathe well so are surprisingly OK for warm early October days in the northeast, and also comfortable for colder days. The fronts are fairly water resistant but the cotton backs can soak up in wet brush. Spraying them with a water resistant product helps a lot. The front snap does unsnap easily, but I fixed that by just tapping the male side slightly with a small hammer until it had the fit I was satisfied with; it has worked fine without fail for several years now. The pants are sturdy, therefore somewhat heavy, so I find suspenders aid in making them very comfortable maneuvering through blowdowns and the brushy edges of clear-cuts. Overall, these pants are a good deal.

The pants are well designed and of sturdy constuction. The only weakness is the snap, very weak, too bad it's not a button type closure. My wife will be making the modification for me and after that they'll almost be perfect.

Well made pants for their intended purpose and I like the fit......But, like other reviews have mentioned the snap button does NOT work and it is not an anomaly. There appears to be a total defect in the matching of the male/female ends. Very bad idea to utilize a snap on pants like this to begin with (were they even designed by a hunter?). I will be taking them to the tailor for repair so just be aware of the extra effort/cost involved.

Have not been able to find this type of pants at a local outlet. Didn't want to order on-line, but have been pleased both with the product[...].

Got this for my husband for Christmas. Pants are a little big, but can be adjusted on the sides. He loves them! Great gift!
