The stirrups on the bottom of the pants help keep the pants in place. They are are very warm and comfortable. Excellent value.

I love the foot straps in these pants. I dont have to use my ankle gators when I wear these in my waders. They are super comfortable early and mid year but late season you may need some long underwear to stay warm. Also they are a little bulky in the leg and can bind in your waders.

As the product description notes, these pants were designed to wear under waders. However, I bought them to use as casual sweats to wear around the house during the cold and winter months. They are warm, roomy and have nice front pockets as well as a nice rear zippered pocket. The fit is good. All my other "sweats" are cotton, with no pockets and are seriously cheaply cut, resulting in embarassing exposure in the rear during bending and lifting. These Columbia pants however, have no such "exposure" problems. All-in-all, they are perfect for the price and use. Can't comment on how well they would do under waders.

I have different weight fleeces to wear depending upon the forecast temperature. This one is my really cold waterfowl fleece to use under my breathable waders. I have nothing but good to say about this product.

I use this product to wear under my hip boots. I liked them so much that I bought another pair for myself. I also bought a pair for my son as well as a pair for my good friend.

These wader pants are way too heavy and bulky to wear under any waders. The legs are very large in diameter all the way to the cuffs. Believe me these are warm pants but NOT intended to be worn under waders! For what I paid for them they will make great cold morning/evening lounge pants. Nice pockets and elastic stirrups too.

Product is as described. I like it having lots of pockets.Will use it for winter riding & having the stirrup will keep it from riding up under the waterproofs.
