Most Helpful 5-Star Review
Reviewed by NN from Ohio on Monday, March 10, 2014The boots I was replacing were Columbia Titanium Ice Breakers. (Awesome winter boots, but I can't find them anywhere) I was glad I read the previous reviews and decided to order a half a size bigger. (others suggested to order a whole size bigger but I have a very small foot and decided a 1/2 size higher would work, which it did.) These boots lace up nicely, and kept my feet warm and dry. They have been an easy break-in. Have already hiked in them several times, once in a couple of inches of snow and again in wet slippery conditions. They have gripped the trail well. Thus far my feet have stayed dry but I am not yet convinced they are truly waterproof. Time will tell.
Reviewed by Corey214 from Colorado on Friday, January 24, 2014I was looking for some warm boots with good traction to go on a ice fishing trip with my husband. I ordered these and the size ran a little small I wanted to wear thicker socks so I returned them and reordered the bigger size (half size bigger). The day I shipped them back my new boots were shipped out to me. No delay at all. I wore them for two days standing on the ice and my feet stayed very warm. They were comfortable and I got lots of compliments on how they looked. I love my new boots and would recommend them highly.
Reviewed by Mtn Cole from Tahoe on Wednesday, December 18, 2013Where the leather comes over the toe, it was uncomfortable on my foot. Seems like it would be a good boot otherwise if this issue doesn't happen with your foot.
Reviewed by Bonnie from Oregon on Tuesday, December 10, 2013I have not worn these boots yet, but know the sizing is off. I ordered a size 7 and my toes hit the end of the toe box. Returned for a half size larger and have room for a light to med.light pair of socks. Would need a whole size larger to wear heavy socks and still be able to move your toes.
Reviewed by Mary the adventurer from Idaho on Tuesday, November 26, 2013I love these hiking boot they are so supportive and since i have weak ankles i need all the support i can get. They were comfortable and fantastic on difficult terrain. Overall worth the cost! Can't wait to get outside and use them again.
