    i bought these for my son since the ad said they are for 'kids'. unfortunately the white pair is really for girls. however, the size i purchased, 14-16 actually fits my girlfriend who is about 5'7" and 120lbs! so i gave them to her and she absolutely loves them! she wears them for simply going to the store or taking her son sledding.

    These are very nice looking, and my daughter is quite happy with them. I wasn't sure of the inseam prior to ordering, as it wasn't on packaging. It would appear to be 30-31". Sizing appears accurate.

    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    I bought the size 4/5 for one son, and the size 6/6X for my older son. My sons are both an average build (not really stocky) and these pants were too narrow in the waist for them. I love the look of them - they look very well-made and stylish, but they didn't fit either kid. They are sold as "girls" pants. I'm not sure if young girls have narrower waists than boys, but if they do, that might explain the problem. They look pretty gender-neutral though - if they fit, they'd be good for boys.
