The jacket is cut oddly, as if to fit a shorter woman with pronounced hips. I am 5'7", 120lbs, and ordered the small. The jacket fit fine, other than it had these wings of fabric on the sides that stuck out slightly below my natural waist which was so odd looking, it was unwearable. When columbia made this women's jacket, they made too pronounced of an hourglass shape that it doesn't work for all body types. I would have preferred the jacket to have been a bit longer as well, so it was a complete fail for me.

I can't wait to try it on the hiking trail or while horsebackriding my horses this winter. I am small and always strugling to find non-bulky but warm clothes.
