The front styling detail hits in a strange place on the chest, I tried this coat with a couple of friends to see if it was just me, but it looked strange on all of us. I returned the jacket.

This jacket is a very nicely made jacket. But the size was way off. If you like tight clothes it's for you. It has a little stretch to it but was still tight. I returned it. If I ordered a size larger it might work for me.

I really wanted to like this jacket, but there was just no way I could keep it after trying it on. The jacket is cut oddly, as if to fit a shorter woman with pronounced hips. I am 5'7", 120lbs, and ordered the small. The jacket fit fine, other than it had these wings of fabric on the sides that stuck out slightly below my natural waist which was so odd looking, it was unwearable. When columbia made this women's jacket, they made too pronounced of an hourglass shape that it doesn't work for all body types. I would have preferred the jacket to have been a bit longer as well, so it was a complete fail for me.
    • Best Uses: Everyday, Outdoors
    • Cons: Terrible design, Too Short
    • Pros: Heavy, Well Made

I love this jacket. I have not had a chance to try it in action yet, due to the warm weather so far. I can't wait to try it on the hiking trail or while horsebackriding my horses this winter. I am small and always strugling to find non-bulky but warm clothes.
    • Best Uses: Hiking, Winter Horsebackriding
    • Cons: Don't know any yet
    • Pros: Great snug fit, Lightweight, Not bulky, Soft against skin, Warm

The fabric is not so stretchy. It is more of a soft shell kind.
