This is best suited for those times when you HAVE to go out in the pouring rain and want to stay dry.

I used this for the first time last week while paddling on the Allegheny River. I had the entire rainsuit on, then the sun came out before we launched. So I took off the rainpants and wore the jacket as a windbreaker. Of course the rains came and I was only covered on top, but the jacket did a good job. I hadn't fastened the snaps to close the zipper, so rain began to seep in after a while of downpour. But when the wetness caught my attention and I fastened the zipper flap, that stopped the seepage. It did a good job of keeping me dry. It is a relaxed fit, so I should have ordered a medium. But I'm going to save this one for use in cooler weather to wear over heavier clothing and my pfd. In the meantime, I ordered a size medium for summer use. And yes, I did already recommend it to a friend.

My intention was to have this on my motorcyle for sudden inclement weather. I bought a size larger than usual to wear over clothing. The waist was too small to go over jeans.

I have not had pants before -I do Agility with my dog -it will keep me dry during runs in the rain.

I'm so glad I bought this rain outfit when I did! My dog expects his hour walk every morning, rain or shine -- and we have had nothing but rain for weeks!! I must say I have not worn the pants part yet, though I really should. But the jacket has been used practically every day. The hood, with its high neckline and brim does an excellent job of keeping the rain off the face. And I like that it is so lightweight because many of the mornings are muggy and very warm. No problem! I would recommend this to anyone who has to get out in the rain -- you will stay dry with this.

I love the color and get lots of compliments when I wear it.

I bought this because I attend my son's college football games and it can get windy and rainy in the stadium. The pants fit perfect the jacket was a little big but since I will be using them into the winter that is OK I can put my clothes, including a winter jacket, underneath.
