It may be that the shoe will get roomier as the considerable amount of furry insulation compacts through use. We returned for a larger size.

They stay dry in wet snow and slush and are easy to take on and off. I'll by the next size up for next yr if they are available. She says sometimes snow gets in the top but she is walking in 3ft snow drifts. Under normal conditions they should be fine and if they were taller you would loose the light-weight advantage.
