Verified Buyer Reviewed by Sarah from San Francisco on Sunday, December 28, 2014This is the best jacket ever made for summer camping with mosquitos. It is made from mesh and not hot at all, but still completely protective. The hood is large enough to cover a hat and protects the nape and sides of the neck perfectly. I have used it for three straight summers and it has held up really well. I have the one for adults (men) and my kids have this one. It is generously cut.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Jepp from Utah on Thursday, August 28, 2014I purchased this for myself hoping youth large would fit a 5'3" woman. Happily it does. Can't wait to try it out on my secret fishing stream.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by CA backpacker from California on Monday, July 28, 2014Ordered the large and it fit us (typically women's medium) just fine. Went on a 5-day backpacking trip and used this jacket throughout the trip to keep mosquitoes away!
Reviewed by Alice T from Virginia on Tuesday, August 6, 2013Mosquitoes love me: I usually get bit within 5 minutes of going outside. I ordered the Youth Large of this jacket because the Women's Smalls were gone. It fits great. The elastic at the wrist is not too tight but keeps the bugs from flying up the sleeve. Of course I got a couple of mosquito bites on my hand, but none under the jacket. Plus I think because of the repellent and the lack of landing sites, it seems the mosquitoes left me alone after a while (my legs were also covered.) I found the jacket to be a little hot while I was hiking, but standing around the yard it was fine. The hood and pockets are nice to have, but it would be better if the hood could be pulled tight. Still, I am very happy with the purchase
