    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    I really like most Columbia products. I felt these were really thin. Which I suppose is good on hot days. But my normal Columbia size 6 in this one was too big and draped shapelessly on me. (I am 5'5, 120#, 27" waist). The color was a very dark olivey green. And I tried a short version of this pant at a store on, in size 4 and it was too small. Very stretchy.

    Columbia pants fit me perfect. I wish there were more colors - I would buy them all. I wore these 5 days in a row and they still looked great! They dry super fast - great for traveling!

    I'm in love of this pants, I have this ones in three colors and For me are the best pants for hiking that I have. Are very light for use and also give a freedom in the movement really nice. I recomend 100% this product because apart of be a very confortable pants are very flattering for the body too.

    Just bought these pants and am seriously considering a second pair for our trip to Alaska. The stretch and light weight material is very comfortable - great for hiking on chilly days, they would work well as skins on cold camping trips. Great for traveling. A size 14, the fit is perfect.

    Great lightweight pant for outdoor activities. Like the versatility of the length and ability to cinch the bottoms. Order your usual size but be aware the waist is quite large but the tie does help although it would be irritating on bare skin. Left a tank tucked in under the drawstring and it was fine.
