    even though these are a trail shoe, I bought them for everyday use; mostly for work. I'm quite biased, and prefer a much lighter shoe for actual running. These are however, a beefy comfortable shoe, and provide good protection. I personally would not like them for running, but do like them for work, and everyday use. for those who do like a well padded shoe, these might be a good choice on the trail. nuff said.

    Columbia shoes have always outlasted other trail shoes in my closet. While I haven't had these long enough to tell, so far, they're holding up well. And they're comfortable. Great price on a good shoe.

    Overall good shoe. I wear them for outdoor work on a daily basis. Generally I wear out most shoes in six months because of the the type of work I do. I bought two pairs of this shoe because of the Columbia name and of course the price!
