I had the regular Kaibab's before this and they were great. These are just as good and I like the look even better. Excellent traction built solid but very light. I have some Merrells, Tevas, and Northface shoes but my Kaibab Plus's will probably be my most used hiker this summer. I like them that m...

My husband loves the look and fit of these shoes. He needed a shoe he could work in and walk a lot with good support in non-distracting colors. the only problem with these is the tread is already pulling away from the shoe after only a week. Very disapointing quality.

Bought these with trepidation, as the last Columbia shoes I had wore out quickly. But these seem to be more ruggedly constructed. Also, I have a wide ish set of toes-not wide enough for "wide" shoes, but wide enough to make finding comfortable shoes a chore. These are right on! The toe box is roomy but the rest of the shoe is nice and snug. Lots of cushion and spring. Plenty of traction. Love these so far!

Purchased because the various STP discounts added up to a good price.
Construction is typical for a mid-price shoe. Sock liner is rather pedestrian (pun not intendedj). I replaced the thinnish, flat closed cell foam sock liner that came with the shoe with liner having gel pads and arch support. Sole is flexible, slightly on the stiff side.
Probably slightly small; I wear a 9-1/2 to usually a 10 to get the width I need. A 10 was not overly large for me.
Satisfactory for fitness walking on varied terrain with 35 lb pack, or for mixed trail running.
Arch Type: Low Arch
Best Uses: Mixed Terrain, Walking, With Orthotics/Inserts
