I bought this in Novemeber before it really got cold here in MN, and couldn't wait to try it out. Boy what a winter to try out a new jacket, 48 + days with sub zero temps. I had my doubts that it would hold up on the -20 days, and I am not disappointed. I have nothing negative to say about this part... Read More

This extremely lightweight jacket is nothing more than an overpriced windbreaker. Maybe if the sun were out the omni-heat interior might have some warmth value to it.

It did was it was supposed to do and that was keep me warm.

I bought it for the weekend activities. It is very light and I can fit it in my purse. And very warm. With a thin cashmere sweater under this jacket was warm enough when the temperature was only 32F. And this is a jacket without any insulation. It has only 2 very thin layers and nothing in between. The inner layer is silvery. It reflects the body hit and keeps you warm. I like the fit. I bought it size up and was very pleased that the bottom was adjustable.

I bought this because from the picture and the category, I thought this would be a great winter coat for the snow. I expected it to be thin, because of the Omni-Heat technology, but I finally got it today and it's like a windbreaker. The Omni-Heat has the potential to keep you warm, but I really doubt it will be nice and cozy when I'm cleaning off my car in 0-degree weather and two feet of snow. So back it goes, and I'm left searching for another winter coat!
