    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    Even though these knee socks have a great length they need to be pulled back up after a few short hours of wear. I was standing and walking around a classroom at the time when they begin to lose their grip and slip straight down. They do not spring back to their tube-like state, rather they stay in their expanded shape. I am much happier with the Goodhew brand I purchased at STP earlier.

    I love knee high socks in fall and winter for day to day use with boots, and to keep warm! Have some one pair of Angora socks which are the the best from sierra. These are okay, but already finding that they fall down. I little tighter elastic at the top band would be preferred. Bunched up socks are no fun.

    These work great as a ski sock. I have a hard time keeping my feet warm when I ski, mostly because my feet perspire. These socks keep them dry, and therefore, warm.
