    I got these gloves for a trip to Churchill, Manitoba to see polar bear migration.. It was pretty cold, and I found that my fingers got icy really fast, as we were not terribly active. I had a pair of fingered mittens that worked better, as I had to fiddle a lot with my binos and camera, plus would fit a hand-warmer really easily. I think these gloves will be much better for active sports.

    Really loved these gloves - had to return because there wasn't any room to move my thumb; they are short in the webbing there. Otherwise, so unusual to find a STYLISH glove that's also really warm and not too bulky. Loved the zip pocket on the back of the hand part. Disappointed they didn't fit. Size up, and good luck to you.
