    This is very close to the perfect skirt, with one big shortcoming. The seams "puckered up" with washing. I am one of those who dresses casually and comfortably, but I still want to look neat and professional, and unfortunately this is a problem with a lot of cotton garments; you wash them one time and the sewing thread shrinks differently from the material, making the seams obvious. This is particularly disappointing on this skirt because it is made in several panels. Still I am keeping it; just won't wear it to the office.

    I really like this skirt except to make it the length I want (as shown in photo), I need the whole waistband extended all the way (the photo shows about half the waistband). This makes the waistband come pretty far down and it looks weird. I am returning. Will say "Yes, I would recommend this to a (short) friend."

  • Perfect summer skirt

    Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
    This is casual, comfortable skirt for the summer. The skirt part feels like linen. I haven't washed it yet, but judging from another reviewers comment, I probably won't put it in the dryer. I'm 5'5 and the length was slightly above the knees which is where I would want it. The full retail price is more than I would pay, but STP always has great deals. Can't wait until summer to wear it!
